The minute I stepped foot in the door Ms. Celeste was the first person I was greeted by, she gave me a tour of the building and I knew immediately I found a safe space for my children. For starters, the door is locked, they will not allow you in the building for safety reasons if they don’t know who you are and they aren’t expecting you. (Call ahead to make an appointment tour). They take a lot of pride in cleanliness. At nap time the teachers take all the toys the kids play with that morning and sanitize them, as well at the end of the day. They have an app called Brightwheel that allows the teachers and staff to communicate with you the entire day- even weekends! The staff have the same app on their phones and you can get a hold of them 365 days, 24 hours a day. Potty’s, naps, meals, pictures and videos! Even books they read throughout the day, it’s AWESOME! Communication is big for me as a parent, their staff communicates effectively and efficiently. I’ve never had any issues! The other big thing for me was the animals in their classrooms. I believe animals are therapeutic. Each classroom has different animals, they even have a therapeutic dog named Banks! Hims a handsome good boy! I would also like to add how much my children have thrived since coming to Keystone, my oldest has learned Spanish numbers and words. My youngest barely talked to anyone prior to placing them in Keystone, they have made her feel so comfortable she is a chatterbox now! My children aren’t just surving, they are absolutely thriving at Keystone! Last but not least, their director Amanda Hunter is an actual angel! She takes care of my family more than I can ever thank her for. She does sooooo much for all the kids in her care; she’s engaged, she’s involved, she’s organized and she treats the kids like they’re her own! 10 out of 10, I highly recommend Keystone!!
